I’m getting a lot of people asking me if suction dredging is open in California. I’m not an attorney and I don’t give legal advice but…here is a copy of an article published in the December 2023 edition of the Mining Journal (ICMJ) written by Public Lands for the People (PLP) that seemingly states suction dredging for gold and reclamation work is allowed again.
