Budget Air System for Gold Dredge

Recently sold a used 2 1/2″ Keene gold dredge to a pal up in Nevada County. He said he was going to dredge on a small creek and didn’t think he’d need air.  It’s been a few months now, he reached out to me asking what it would take  install an air compressor, including the air lines, and regulator and the works on his dredge. Told him he would be in the $500-600 range for everything. He told me that’s about what he figured, also mentioned wasn’t sure if he really needed air. He was shopping, and rightfully so, I would too. Couple days went by, we talked, said he wanted to get to the bottom of a waterfall in this little creek and had to have air of some kind. He sent me a link to Vogtland Outdoors 2021  – build a diy surface supplied air hooka diving system. Watched the youtube video. Very interesting and economical. Check it out.
