Handle-up.com was founded by a gold miner with over 30 years experience in the heart of the mother lode in Northern California.  Years of experience have yielded designs which simply make the life of a miner easier, and are now made available to all. These have been tried and tested in many applications and have been proven to be an invaluable upgrade to your mining operation.

One of our latest products for sale is the ‘Fat’ bucket handle. These Fat handles are 1 1/2″ thick, perfect for your hand to get a good grip on.  Our Fat handles fit on many different size buckets and pails and can be installed over an existing plastic handle, or the wire bail left over after the original plastic handle has broken off. They are made of quality plastic, install easily, and are ergonomically correct to minimize physical effort and discomfort while maximizing efficiency. Great for lifting and/or carrying anything heavy such as livestock feed, construction tools and equipment, rainwater, fertilizer, soil, and much more! Anything that might be heavy, Fat handles can handle!

Our signature product is our Handle-up engine carrying kit. Our carrying kits make it much easier to lift, carry, and transport your dredge or highbanking engine assembly. It allows you to carry your small engine assembly with a single hand while freeing up the other hand for balance or to carry another piece of equipment. This is an important safety factor. You no longer have to ‘bear hug’ your engine assembly while carrying it down steep inclines or crossing slippery rivers and streams on the way to your mining claim.

The complete Handle-up carrying kit weighs only 1 1/2 pounds and is made of solid aluminum. The two brackets are fabricated out of heavy duty .080 aluminum, and the handle is a piece of 3/4 inch solid aluminum stock. This makes for a rugged and durable piece of equipment, all built in the USA.

These kits are compatible with Honda/Keene, Honda/Proline, and Subaru/Gold Grabber gold dredges and high bankers. Our Kits simply bolt directly onto Honda GX110, GX120, GX140, GX160, GX200 engines and Subaru EX17 and EX21 engines. Installation is quick and easy. In most cases the water pump, or air compressor do not need to be removed. Remove the top two 10mm bolts on the starter assembly, and two 12mm bolts from the engine side case, place the brackets, and reinstall the four bolts. Insert handle in between brackets and install two bolts in each end of the handle and your Handle-up engine carrying kit is installed. In rare cases the pump assembly may have to be removed before installation.

Our Ultimate Crevice Flusher is the most important ‘tool in the box’. Our flusher is constructed of all brass and copper fittings to help resist corrosion. It attaches to a garden hose that has been installed on your dredge pump for cleaning out the crevices in the bedrock where the gold nuggets lay. When open, it shoots a high pressure stream of water into the crevices to flush the gold out. The bedrock is where the big gold is and that is where you want to be.
